With WildStar pre-orders going live today, it seemed logical to offer a recap of the classes in the game, and what abilities should make them fun to play.
Want to bring some serious pain to the opposition? Then check out The Warrior, which can be a tank or melee DPS. As assault or crowd control, Warriors are valuable to any party that prefers survival. The class is playable by Human, Granok, Mordesh, Cassian, Mechari and Draken. They utilize a Power Sword, Arm Cannon, and some good ol’ brute force.
The Spellslinger can be ranged DPS or healer. High mobility makes Spellslingers masters of both kiting and dispensing damage on the move. The class is playable by Human, Aurin, Mordesh, Cassian, Draken and Chua. They utilize Mag Pistols, acrobatics and magic sigils.
Like The Spellsinger, The Esper is also ranged DPS or a healer. Blending targeted skill-shots and AE healing make Espers superb rejuvenators and DPS. The class is only playable by Human, Aurin, Cassian and Chua. They use a psy-blade, illusions and projections.
The Engineer is ranged DPS, but can also tank if needed. Engineers can go toe to toe with foes as well as hurl major DPS from a distance. The class is playable by Human, Granok, Mordesh, Cassian, Mechari and Chua. They use an Exo Suit, Bots and a Launcher to get the job done.
Like the Warrior, the Stalker is a Melee DPS or tank-based class. With their varied counterattacks and bonuses from evasion, Stalkers make formidable tanks. The class is playable by Human, Aurin, Mordesh, Cassian, Mechari and Draken. The have claws, various devices and a nano skin at their disposal.
The Medic is a healer, but also can provide some ranged DPS support if needed. Whether as pure healers, DPS, or crowd control, Medics are often welcome on battlefields. The class is playable by Human, Granok, Mordesh, Cassian, Mechari and Chua. They use resonators, fields and probes to get the job done.
