Nicolas Cage is one of the most prolific actors of his generation. While being prolific is a wonderful thing to be it also spawned some films that you may not want to watch, as these would possibly tarnish everyone’s gleaming opinion of the Laurence Olivier of his generation.

Few remember the 1991 bomb Zandalee, even having the first screen pairing of Judge Reinhold and Nic Cage since Fast Times at Ridgemont High couldn’t help this actually find an audience.

The first mistake that they made with re-making The Wicker Man was actually re-making The Wicker Man. Even the presence of Nicolas Cage couldn’t save this one from a horrible death at the box office.

Nicolas Cage’s spiritual sequel to Taken was Stolen. It was made with great intentions, unfortunately those intentions didn’t include a successful release.

Bangkok Dangerous is like Collateral but without any of that darned talent or story. For a film that sticks to a formula this wasn’t actually that bad, just disappointing.

Drive Angry is, quite possibly, the possible third Ghost Rider film. Nic is as good at escaping from hell as he is at stealing the Declaration of Independence.

Speaking of Ghost Rider, this was a great chance for Nic to show off his acting chops but unfortunately the computer generated graphics stole the show.

City of Angels was all about how an angel fell, with a very very sappy soundtrack thanks to the Goo Goo Dolls. Nic and Meg Ryan are both fantastic actors but this film was just plain avoidable.

Con Air featured a fantastic cast but unfortunately a sub-par director and producers. Nic and his cast of stars shine but they’re led through a maze of poor filmmaking.
