This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

Okay, but really, lots of spoilers ahead.

Viserys Targaryen, brother of the Khaleesi, just wanted his own crown of gold. Not too much to ask but apparently too much to ask of Khal Drogo, who wasn’t such a fan of the boorish Viserys. He finally got his crown, or rather the molten gold that could make a crown.

The gruesome part of Khal Drogo’s death was more that it came from a scratch. Something so small brought down this strong leader of the Dothraki, if only they had a first aid kit and some peroxide this could all have been avoided.

Ned Stark was almost everyone’s favorite character in the first season, well, until he had his head taken by King Joffrey. All he wanted to do was take that product of incest off of the throne, and the said product of incest took his head.

Renly Baratheon, potential heir to the throne, was attempting to take his place as king when he had one of the worst family reunions in the history of family reunions. His brother Stannis, another contender to the throne, sent a magical assassin to stab him in the back. You know brothers and their wacky pranks.

What happens when you steal dragons from the Khaleesi? You get burnt by her dragons. The Warlocks of Qarth looked pretty smart until they pulled that shit. Do you think that you can get away with stealing dragons? Everyone should take a lesson from this man’s death: Don’t steal anyone’s dragons.

In the third season Robb Stark went to a wedding, it seemed like a nice event, well, until the celebration got a little red. In one fell swoop the Lannisters, with a little help from Walder Frey, took the Starks out of the running for the iron throne. But Robb was only the beginning…

Robb’s mother Catelyn was also attending the wedding, she didn’t fare any better. After this event I don’t see anyone related to the Starks ever having a wedding celebration. Although, to be fair, the majority of the attendees weren’t harmed, so there’s that.

The most heartbreaking and gruesome death of the wedding massacre had to be Talisa Stark. She was carrying Robb’s child and honestly was one of the nicest characters in the series, so of course she had to go. The way that they murdered the mom-to-be was the icing on the cake, stabbing a pregnant woman in the belly is probably the definition of evil.
