The newest LEGO take on Boba Fett’s Slave 1 will feature 1,996 pieces and five mini-figures.
If we’re being honest, Boba Fett is probably one of the dullest characters in the original YouTube user just2good, reveal a nicely detailed set that includes 1,996 pieces and five mini-figures. Among the included figures will be Han Solo, Han Solo frozen in carbonite, a Stormtrooper, a Bespin guard and a fancy new Boba Fett. The new Slave 1 will be a member of LEGO’s Ultimate Collector’s Series. There’s currently no information as to how much the new Slave 1 set will cost or when it will hit store shelves.
This, of course, won’t be LEGO’s first Slave 1 model. The famed starship has already been recreated in two previous LEGO sets released in 2006 and 2010. That said, those earlier models were much smaller in scale, barely using more than 500 pieces and featuring a lot less detail than the new version. Take a look at the images and let us know what you think. Will this be on your LEGO shopping list or does it miss the mark like a Stormtrooper’s blaster fire?
