Will Ferrell and Twitch are raising money for cancer research.

In what appears to be the first major event for Twitch after being acquired by Amazon, the streaming service is teaming up with Will Ferrell to raise money for cancer research.

Aptly named “Will Ferrell’s SuperMegaBlastMax Gamer Challenge,” the Indiegogo campaign wants to raise at least $375,000 for cancer-related charities.

The grand prize for this fundraising event? The winner and a guest are flown to San Francisco, and get to play video games with Buddy the Elf for two hours, streamed on Twitch for all to see.

Partners include Amazon, Microsoft, and others to be announced later. $10 gets your foot in the door, netting you $5 credit on Amazon, along with one entry into the contest. Perk items on higher tiers include “Will Ferrell’s SuperMegaUVBlastMax Gamer’s Sunscreen,” autographed Xbox One controllers, clothing, and autographed cowbells. The higher the tier, the more entries you get into the contest.

The two charities benefiting from the campaign are Cancer for College, and DonateGames. Cancer for College “has granted nearly $2 million in scholarships to more than 1,000 survivors from around the country,” while DonateGames funds scholarships, provides financial aid to families struggling with the cost of cancer treatment, and donates video games and technology to hospitals.

The IGG campaign started today, and ends at midnight on October 12th. At time of publication, the campaign had collected roughly $8,500 of its $375,000 goal.
