If you snag Dragon Age: Origins from the Origin store between now and October 14, you’ll experience a generous 100% discount.

EA’s “On The House” program for its Origin digital distribution platform has a very simple goal: to give away great games to its user-base for free, with no catch. Previously, we’ve had Battlefield 3 and Plants vs. Zombies featured on the program, and now, one of the best Western RPGs of all time is being featured. That’s right, from now until October 14, you can pick up Bioware’s award-winning Dragon Age: Origins for a rather generous 100% discount.

To get your free game, all you’ll need to do is head over to the Origin store, and click on the “Get it Now” button. Then, it will be added to your Origin library, where it will stay for free, forever. This offer only extends to the base Dragon Age: Origins game, so if you want the Awakening expansion packs, or any of the smaller DLCs you’ll have to shell out some cash.

Still, it’s a pretty generous offer, and while some may consider “the catch” to be that you have to download Origin, that’s a very small price to pay to get this fantastic game for free.

But act fast, because after October 14 the game will go back to its regular price of $29.99.
