Users of the website Board Game Geek have been busy photoshopping Dwayne Johnson’s face onto popular board game boxes, and the results are hilarious.

I’m not going to sit here and pretend I don’t love Dwayne Johnson. The man is a hero. They’re remaking Big Trouble in Little China, and I ain’t even mad. Now the star of wrestling ring and silver screen is finding his charming self all over some of the biggest board games of the past few years and, if you ask me, it’s about time.

Users of the website Board Game Geek are to thank for these masterpieces featuring the future Black Adam. I absolutely encourage you to visit that treasure trove yourself. If you’re a deft hand with Photoshop, maybe you can even add to their growing gallery of wonder and merriment.

I picked out a few of my favorites:

It’s amazing how quickly these altered images start to make sense. Yes, of course The Rock is a playable faction in Eclipse. And didn’t Terry Pratchett always say it was Dwaynes, all the way down?

Much as I enjoyed the improvement to Netrunner‘s box, I do believe there are even better ways to augment that game’s grim aesthetic.

Alright, Escapists. Time to brainstorm more board games for the Geeks to Rock-ify. I’m eagerly awaiting the image of Johnson’s face replacing each character on Ticket to Ride, for one.
