It’s just one week until this year’s version of id Software’s DOOM launches, and the launch trailer has just arrived. It shows off various gameplay scenes, a number of weapons, and quite a few enemies.
Alongside the trailer, we also have some other information. First up, the official system requirements.

- OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
- RAM: 8 GB RAM
- Hard Drive: 55 GB free HDD space
- Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better

Next, id also shared the times that preloading will begin on each platform. You’ll need 50 GB free if you’re downloading on console, and 55 GB if you’re on PC.
- PC (Steam): 12 AM ET on May 11th
- PS4: 12 am ET (North America)/ 12 am local time (rest of world) on Wednesday, May 11th.
