Book of Demons is a deck-building, hack-and-slash action RPG, and it’s out on Early Access today.
If you’ve always wanted a game to mash Diablo-style action RPG gameplay with deckbuilding, then you should give Book of Demons a look. It’s a game that sends you into dungeons that you set the length of, allowing you to tailor the experience to the time you have available. Each dungeon is procedurally generated and randomly populated, so you won’t find yourself grinding the same dungeons over and over.
Instead of gathering items to raise your stats, you’ll instead build decks of cards that improve your character in a number of ways. You can also choose one of three classes (Warrior, Mage, or Rogue) to take on the dungeons. The world is rendered in papercraft style, and looks a lot like a pop-up book.
