For $9.99 or 1000 gold, you can once again enter Hearthstone‘s high-stakes Heroic Tavern Brawl, for a chance at fabulous prizes.

Hearthstone‘s incredibly high-stakes Heroic Tavern Brawl mode is coming back next week, giving players another chance to win up to fifty card packs at once. The mode will replace the regular Tavern Brawl mode, and will cost you $9.99 or 1000 gold to enter. Once you pay the entrance fee, you’ll make a standard deck out of cards you own, and then enter the arena, playing against other Heroic Brawlers until you either win 12 times or loose three times.

If you do somehow manage to get to 12 wins, you’ll get 50 Mean Streets of Gadgetzan packs, 1100 Gold, 1100 Arcane Dust, and three golden Legendaries. But if you bow out without getting a single win, you’ll be rewarded with just a single pack. To break even and get yourself 7 card packs (which sell for $9.99 in the store), you’ll have to get to six wins.

It looks like things are pretty much the same as they were the last time Blizzard ran the brawl, except that instead of Whispers of The Old Gods packs players will get Mean Streets of Gadgetzan packs. The brawl will run for one week, after which your regularly scheduled Tavern Brawls will return.

Not for the light of heart, and certainly not for those who recoil in terror at the sight of Patches the Pirate.
