Lightyear Frontier supports up to four players in online co-op, meaning you’ll be able to craft, manage your resources, and explore an alien world with three of your friends. Frame Break and Amplifier explain that there’s more to the world though, explaining on the game’s Steam page that players will engage in a “mystery-driven narrative” on an alien planet with dynamic weather and unique inhabitants.

Freedom seems to be one of Lightyear Frontier’s biggest draws, with the developers promising that players can build and customize farms anywhere they’d like. Additional features include third- and first-person perspective options, a customizable tractor mech, alien wildlife, and the ability to join an “interstellar neighborhood” that sees you partnering with “your off-planet neighbors.”

The last ID@Xbox showcase spotlighted other indie titles, such as Twelve Minutes and Astria Ascending. Stay tuned for more from today’s showcase and additional release information as Lightyear Frontier continues development.
