Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Dinogod have announced Bounty Star: The Morose Tale of Graveyard Clem, an over-the-shoulder action game with mech combat, farming, and base-building, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox Game Pass, and PC via Steam. It will launch in 2023. You play as Clem, a combat veteran mech pilot attempting to overcome the guilt of things she did during war. Her aim is to be a “force for good” in the Red Expanse, a “post-post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest.”
In Bounty Star, you will pilot the Desert Raptor MKII mech, which is customizable with melee weapons, siege weapons, explosives, boosters, shields, and other such things. You can act as a bounty hunter to track down criminals and protect the region, but you can also chill at home to build out the land. Lay down power supplies, raise animals, cook some food, and create your own ammunition and fuel for future battles.
