Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is a 2.5D sequel to the 2017 open-world puzzle platformer Yooka-Laylee. Both are created by Playtonic Games, a team of former Rare developers responsible for the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Your heroes Yooka, a chameleon, and Laylee, a bat, work in tandem, jumping and gliding through colorful lands to help Queen Phoebee take back her ā€œStingdomā€ from the evil Capital B, who has managed to erect a seemingly impossible gauntlet of traps.

The game is out Oct. 8th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC for $30.
