First, it was chicken sandwiches and Megan Fox. Now, developer Activision Blizzard is giving away a PC in exchange for your blood as part of a new Diablo 4 event called āBlood Harvest,ā encouraging players to give up some drops of plasma at a clinic.
The entire campaign is totally unorthodox, but based on previous stunts, a blood PC giveaway seems in line with the Diablo 4 team. Activision Blizzard even went a step further when announcing the campaign, publishing a short clip on Twitter of a (blood hungry) nurse calling on gamers to donate blood for in-game rewards. Below, youāll find the video if youāre interested in watching it.

To join the blood-giving event, you must donate at a reputable clinic and submit proof via the Blood Harvest webpage. Here, you can also see a progress meter shared between all players. Basically, as gamers donate blood, that progress bar will surpass different tiers, unlocking unique in-game weapons and armor for all players regardless of contribution. The following is a list of those rewards:
- 33% Tier: Bloodpetal Anlace dagger, Bloodpetal Sever axe, Bloodpetal Blade sword, Bloodpetal Bludgeon druid staff, and Bloodpetal Heart Necromancer offhand.
- 66% Tier: Loch Raeth Maor armor for Barbarian.
- 100% Tier: Vermillion Eye Piebald mount and blood PC giveaway unlocks.
Once 666 quarts of blood get donated and submitted to the rising poll, the blood PC sweepstake will open. Like the in-game rewards unlocked with each tier, anyone can join the giveaway via Instagram and Twitter once players reach that target. According to Activision Blizzard, the PC will be āa custom liquid-cooled PC infused with real human blood.ā Yeah, I donāt know how that works, either.
Furthermore, its build will consist of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, an Intel Core i9-13900K, 3 TB Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD storage, and 64 GB of DDR5 RAM. Naturally, the hull of the blood PC will come in a red and black color palette with Diablo 4 Season of Blood graphics. Unfortunately, the giveaway seems exclusive to US residents, but in-game items appear to unlock worldwide.
Players will have until Nov. 10 to contribute to the Blood Harvest meter. So, as long as you’re over 18 and willing, you can donate to a good cause and might even get a PC.
