Best Himeko Build in Honkai: Star Rail

Himeko is a 5 Star Fire character that follows the path of Erudition in Honkai: Star Rail. By herself she’s a decent character with respectable damage. With the release of Topaz, however, she could be about to become a whole new beast. This build guide is focused around turning Himeko into a certified follow-up attack machine enabled by the powerful meta changing abilities of Topaz.

Best Follow-Up Attack Himeko Build in Honkai: Star Rail

This build is specifically designed to maximize the damage Himeko can achieve with her pretty sweet follow-up attacks when she’s part of a team with Topaz. I wouldn’t recommend running this build outside of a Topaz team.

Best Relic Sets for Himeko

Once available in patch 1.5, you’ll want to go for the new relic set Grand Duke Incinerated to Ashes. This set is designed around boosting follow-up attacks. We’ll be using the 4-piece set to provide a 16% increase to follow-up Attack Damage plus an 8% Attack Damage bonus that stacks up to 8 times. A truly powerful set for juicing up follow-up damage. Until this set is released Himeko won’t be as powerful and your best option will be to use half Firesmith of Lava-Forging and half Musketeer of Wild Wheat.

For the Planetary set we’ll be using the 2-piece of the new Firmament Frontline Glamoth set as soon as it releases in patch 1.5. This will provide a 12% increase to Attack Damage as well as a 12%-20% damage boost depending on whether your Speed stat is above 135 or 160 respectively. You’ll want to make sure you’re getting enough speed on your Relics to hit the threshold and active the damage boost with this set. In the meantime you should just use a two piece Space Sealing Station set.

Best Relic Stats for Himeko

For our main implicit stats on the Relics we’ll want the following: Crit Rate on the Body, Speed on the Boots, Fire Damage on the Planar Sphere, and Attack % on the Link Rope. You’ll want to prioritize sub-stats in the following order: Crit Damage > Speed > Crit Rate > Attack % > Flat Attack.

These stats will help turn your Himeko into a follow-up nuke that will help you put out some impressive numbers.

Best Light Cone for Himeko

The 5-Star Light Cone Before Dawn (which is Jing Yuan’s signature Light Cone) is currently the best in slot for follow-up attacks. It’s not a Light Cone many players would have pulled however. Lucky for us we have an amazing 4 Star option. The 4-Star Light Cone — The Birth of the Self — increases follow-up attack damage by 24%-48% plus an additional 24%-48% when the enemy is below 50% HP. The damage depends on the Super Imposition level of your Light Cone, with 24% being level 1 and 48% being level 5. Having such a massive increase to your follow-up attack damage really helps to bring the build together.

That’s how you can build yourself a truly powerful follow-up attack Himeko to slot into a Topaz team in Honkai: Star Rail. Topaz will really be shaking up the meta and companions like Himeko will be the key to making some really powerful teams.
