A potential leak from the Pan European Game Information (PEGI) board suggests Metro Redux and Void Bastards might soon be ported to Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 respectively.
PEGI recently posted ratings for both of the currently unannounced ports, prompting speculation that the games will see new releases in the near future. While ratings from PEGI are certainly promising, it’s best to hold off hopes until official announcements are made.
In the case of Metro Redux, this isn’t the first time a leak has pointed to a Switch release, as Wccftech noticed Portuguese retailer GamingReplay had at one point listed the game for a December 2019 release last year.
Metro Redux is a double pack that contains Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, two first-person post-apocalyptic games based on books by author Dmitry Glukhovsky. Both titles were remastered in 2014, and in 2019, the series saw its third and most recent entry, Metro Exodus.
Void Bastards, on the other hand, was inspired by sci-fi titles like System Shock 2 but features a cel-shaded art style and more strategic gameplay. This indie title released mid-last year for PC and Xbox One, and now it seems PlayStation 4 players may get to experience it. Check out Gameumentary’s thoughts on the game in their two-minute review.
