This will make May 4 a pretty crowded day forĀ Star Wars on Disney+. Not only will the end of the Skywalker Saga be landing, but the making-of documentary Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian and the final episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will also come out. We might further expect some announcements about the upcoming multi-platform Star Wars: The High Republic or a trailer for the second season of The Mandalorian. Disney+ also has three otherĀ Star Wars shows in the works, though it is unlikely we’ll see or hear too much about them.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker didn’t exactly land to a good reception from fans and critics, with the movie being criticized for its copy-paste storyline that seemed to move the franchise backward instead of forward. Still, the film has been the number one home entertainment title over the past four weeks, pulling in a ton of rentals and purchases since coming out on digital and physical platforms. For those who want to give the movie a second chance, this early release is definitely good news.
