In a major surprise to viewers, Steven and Sabrina from Love Is Blind UK are no longer together.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, Steven and Sabrina were the first couple to tie the knot on the season finale. Their drama-free courtship effortlessly evolved into a drama-free proposal and marriage. However, the couple returned to Love Is Blind for the recent reunion special that caught up with the couple a year after the marriage, and things have definitely changed.

In perhaps the most shocking development of the special, Steven and Sabrina revealed they were no longer together. Even more surprising was the level of animosity that existed between them. The two did not sit beside each other, and when it was their turn to give an update regarding their relationship status, they viciously argued. It even got to the point where host Emma Willis had to step in just to quell the dispute.

So what went wrong with what was arguably the best couple of the show? Both parties claim that the other changed once the cameras stopped filming. Sabrina stated that Steven wouldn’t make room for her in his life, citing how he cancelled spending Christmas together at the last minute. Steven defended his actions by stating that things were much easier while they were on the show, and he didn’t have to worry about making a living for himself. Sabrina had additional complaints, but Steven dismissed many of them as lies, stating that he no longer even recognized the woman he married.

“The communication was awful. There was no consistency in Steven’s behavior toward me and the relationship,” Sabrina said of the relationship, while Steven asserted that there were financial issues and other problems that strained their relationship.

As such, not only are Steven and Sabrina no longer together, but the chances of them reconciling seem incredibly low.

Steven and Sabrina’s Love Is Blind Connection

While Love Is Blind UK had its fair share of drama and love triangles, Steven and Sabrina seemed like the perfect couple on paper, which evolved into a relationship and engagement that came as a surprise to no one.

The only real major issue Steven and Sabrina faced on-screen came from a conversation regarding children; Steven very much wanted to be a dad, whereas the 35-year-old Sabrina stated that she would be okay without kids. Even though it was obvious that this conversation caused grief on the part of both Steven and Sabrina, they were later able to sit and talk about the elephant in the room in a mature fashion that led to a doable compromise; Sabrina explained that she would be open to surrogacy or adoption, and Steven replied that he was “here for that,” with a huge smile on his face.
