Who Is Teen In Agatha All Along?

Why is Joe Locke's character just called Teen?

Marvel fans and witchy humans have at long last been treated to the premiere of Agatha All Along. This spinoff from WandaVision is all about villainess Agatha and her newly assembled coven. But who is Teen, really?

Who Is Joe Lockeā€™s Character Teen in Agatha All Along?

In the first episode of Agatha All Along, viewers finally meet the mysterious Teen, played by Joe Locke. The identity of this character has long been speculated after cast list announcements named him only as Teen.

Despite Marvel’s misdirection, many fans correctly guessed that Locke’s character is none other than Wanda’s son Billy, aka Wiccan. This fact was further confirmed by several leaks due to a subtitle mishap and Funko Pop figure release. After a few episodes of speculation and theorizing, Episode 5 of Agatha All Along confirmed that Teen is indeed Wiccan.

The reveal was a bit of a mic drop moment, leaving many fans scrambling for answers as the credits rolled to the tune of “You Should See Me in a Crown.”

What We Know about Teen in Agatha All Along So Far

Agatha All Along went along with the Teen bit in a clever way. Thanks to a Sigil, Teen was unable to speak his own name, and Agatha and her coven were unable to learn it. While some fans theorize the Sigil broke when Wiccan revealed his powers, it’s too soon to say for sure.

That said, the episode contains enough context clues that it is clear Teen is indeed Wiccan. The glowing blue mind control powers. The crown that is unmistakably similar to Wanda’s. And of course, Agatha telling him he’s so much like his mother, a clear reference to the harm Wanda caused using her powers in WestView and beyond.

Although we know that Teen has Billy’s powers, this reveal opens up just as many questions as it answers. How is Teen Billy, when the version of him we knew seemingly vanished at the end of WandaVision? Was he hiding his powers this whole time, or did something about the events of the third trial set them loose? And why, if he had these powers the whole time, was Teen aka Wiccan so determined to find and travel The Road? Not to mention, who cast the Sigil, and why?

Fans will have to watch the rest of the series to get our answers. The showrunners have left us on a major reveal at the end of Episode 5 – and no, there’s no post-credits scene. Believe me, I checked.

Now that we know who Teen is, fans are eager to find out what he wants – and what else he’s willing to do to get it.

Agatha All Along is available to watch now.
