CD Projekt Red Doubles Down on Cyberpunk 2077’s December Release Date

Following the most recent delay of Cyberpunk 2077, rumors began circulating that it would be delayed again to 2021. However, developer CD Projekt Red seems to have doubled down on the game’s new release date, squashing any of the rumors of yet another delay. In speaking with IGN, CDPR said, “As a rule, we donā€™t comment on rumors or speculation. But I will confirm we were just taking time to update all of our assets to reflect the new launch date of December 10th.” While this certainly doesn’t mean the game is safe from a delay, it is comforting to see CDPR’s confidence in the new release date. Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on Dec. 10.
