Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers English release Asian retailer listings Atlus Koei Tecmo Omega Force

Persona 5 Scramble Listed for 2021 English Release at Asian Retailers

It looks like an English release for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers may be coming potentially soon. Via Persona Central, various Asian retailers have listed the game for a 2021 Region 3 English release. An Indonesian retailer, PS Enterprise, put up a listing for the game because it claims that its supplier has confirmed a 2021 release date.

Additionally, a Pakistani retailer, Toy or Game, and Singapore retailer Qisahn have also listed Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers for a 2021 release. They both specifically state a launch date of Feb. 23, 2021.

The game was listed for a Western release on developer Koei Tecmo’s Q1 financial results back in July, hinting that it could receive an English localization soon. Unfortunately, the company recently published its financial results for Q2, and the game was no longer listed.

A Region 3 release means that this version of the game would launch for Southeast Asian markets and not necessarily for Western territories. However, Persona 5 Royal‘s Western release matched up with the game’s Region 3 release as well.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on Feb. 20 this year in Japan. The Korean and Traditional Chinese language versions launched on June 18. Hopefully, some sort of announcement will come soon, perhaps at the 2020 Game Awards. After all, Joker was announced as a fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate back during the 2018 show.
