Some Asian retailer listings, including at Singapore’s Shopitree and Indonesian outlet GSShop, indicate that Mass Effect Legendary Edition will launch on March 12. BioWare and Electronic Arts have not revealed an official release date, but this might suggest that a formal announcement could arrive soon.
GSShop even has a video advertisement incentivizing consumers to preorder Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and it mentions the March 12 release date. As has been previously conveyed, this new collection will include all three Mass Effect entries, as well as previously released promo weapons, armors, and packs.

Additionally, Eurogamer has corroborated the release information, stating that it understands the March release date to be accurate at this time, presuming that there are no further delays.
The Legendary Edition will have higher frame rates and graphical fidelity, as well as updated textures, shaders, models, and effects. BioWare is also developing a brand new entry in the Mass Effect universe with a veteran team leading the project. However, BioWare’s Casey Hudson and Mark Darrah left the studio back in December, placing the future of the Mass Effect franchise in the hands of Mike Gamble.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition was officially announced in November last year with a spring 2021 release window for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. March 12 would incidentally make it a winter release.
