Sony Will Reportedly Allow PS5 SSD Upgrades This Summer
According to a Bloomberg report (as relayed by Eurogamer), a new PlayStation 5 firmware update will go live this summer, allowing for expandable internal storage, as well as better cooling fan speeds. Sony hasn’t confirmed when the firmware update will roll out,Ā but hopefully it’s sooner rather than later. The PS5 is only a few months old at this point, and players are already filling up their SSDs due to the massive sizes of games.

Sony Welcomes Xbox Players with New MLB The Show 21 Trailer
For the first time ever, MLB The Show 21 will be headed to Xbox platforms this spring, in addition to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Sony and San Diego Studio have released a new trailer welcoming Xbox players, and it’s definitely worth checking out! The trailer shows some clips of the game in action and also reminds us that MLB The Show 21 will feature cross-platform play between Xbox and PlayStation.
Superhot: Mind Control Delete Has Just Gotten Xbox Series X | S Enhancements
Today, Superhot Team announced that Superhot: Mind Control Delete has received Xbox Series X | S enhancements. As explained via Twitter, the game now supports 4K visuals at 120 FPS on Xbox Series X, while the Series S version will be presented at 2K. Mind Control Delete is a standalone expansion with roguelike elements that came out in the summer of 2020. The Xbox Series X | S update is ready to play now!

EA has recently revealed the next batch of EA Play titles headed to the service this spring. The games are as follows:
- Madden NFL 21 — March 2, 2021
- Star Wars: Squadrons — March 2021
- NHL 21 — April 2021

Final Fantasy VII Remake Headlines March 2021’s PS Plus Lineup
Sony has revealed the latest list of PS Plus games for the month of March 2021. The list includes the following:
- Final Fantasy VII Remake — PS4
- Remnant: From the Ashes — PS4
- Maquette — PS5
- Farpoint — PSVR
These games will be available to download on Tuesday, March 2. It’s also worth mentioning that users who downloadĀ Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS4 through PS Plus cannot receive a free upgrade to the PS5 edition, Intergrade, when it launches this summer.
