Guild Spotlight: Angels of Death

This article is over 17 years old and may contain outdated information

Name: Angels of Death (AoD)
Play Orientation: PvP
Role Playing: Not an RP guild, but welcome RPers
Guild Size: Small (>30) and growing
Time Zone: US Servers
Communication: Our Forums and Ventrilo in-game
Guild Hall Thread: http://forums.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=20727
Web Site: http://aodpvp.com/

I’m speaking to Seventy – one of the AoD’s leaders (Seventy and Accendo Ignis). His answers follow, enjoy:

Who are the AoD?
We are Active and Skilled PvPers. We have more than 30 members even though we recruit quality over quantity, and we are still growing very fast and have a very good member base although we are only 3 weeks young. AoD was created March 22nd by Seventy and Accendo Ignis.

What is unique about the ExGS?
You can expect a lot of PvP, Quality PvP. We also get into different activities, but our main focus and goal is to rule in all PvP aspects. You can not expect to be bored with us.

What servers are you gunning on?
Definitely PvP. Is anything else worth playing?

How do you look on interaction with other guilds?
We are looking forward to ally with like minded guilds in the future, but we look even more forward to fighting against other guilds. One of my favorite quote is “Respect your friends, but respect your enemies even more.”.

How is the ExGS structured socially (ranks, groups…)?
We have 3 leadership ranks:
Seraphim(leaders), Cherubim(Officers) and Ophanim(Division Leaders). Also the guild has division for each archetypes:
Virtues Choir(Priests), Dominions Choir(Soldiers), Principalities Choir(Rogues) and Powers Choir(Mages). We also have a 5th division for Elite PvPers called Archangels. Only the best and most active PvPers can gain access to this division.

What is your take on player cities?
We will have a very important PC named City Of Angels. We will also strive to capture and keep the best/biggest battlekeep in the Border Kingdoms.

What excites you most about Age of Conan?
PvP, player cities and battlekeeps. But when I say PvP, I mean seeing blood fly in the air!

How are you planning on communicating in-game (raids, sieges etc…)?
Ventrilo. Communication is very important during PvP and therefore it will be used at all times.

What are you looking for in a potential member?
Everyone from old veterans to barely legal…We have people from everywhere around the world, but all have one thing in common, they LOVE PvP, hence, the player must first and foremost LOVE PvP, whether he is a newbie or a pro. I actually found that most of the time, newbie become better PvPers as they are willing to learn more. The player also has to accept and abide by our guild rules. And finally, the player must be able to dedicate at least 20+ hours per week to gaming, as we accept only very active players.

And finally, How to apply?
Go on our website www.aodpvp.com/ and apply there. We will then review your application and get back to you.

A few final words from :
Sorry if the answers seem a bit short, but it is our style to keep things short and to the point – nothing fancy. Just top of the line all killer no filler. =)
