5 years ago MMO’s were new. REALLY new. And no one knew how long they would last (or that fan sites would last just as long!). But, like any game, there’s a limit to what can be done within the genre at any one time. Those limits are tested and pushed by technology, time and money but as the industry moves forward as a whole we don’t always see the individual innovations and changes for what they are.
Snapper has decided that the very nature of MMOG’s as they are today no longer appeals to him. And, unless something drastic happens, he won’t be playing them any more – much to our loss, he’s an enjoyable player.
