I hope you were able to derive some enjoyment from this five-part extravaganza of cheap gags and relentless fanboyism.
Both Sam & Max and Strong Bad are episodic adventure games coming from Telltale Games. If this series hasn’t made it clear, I hold both games in very high regard. They bring back everything that was great about the adventure games of the past, and shed a lot of the annoying gameplay baggage that wrecked the genre. The games look great, they’re fun, and they’re relentlessly witty.
In an effort to twist the knife, Telltale is getting ready to come out with games based on Wallace & Gromit, as well as Bone. I’m not sure what they’re up to, but as far as I can tell it seems to be an elaborate plan to trick me into giving them all of my money.
Devious bastards.
