I already ranted about this in my column last Friday, so I won’t weary your ears with it again. But my brief description there really didn’t do the thing justice. Snake Gulch is extra-crazy, even by the standards set by the rest of the game.

Champions Online is still a blast. I’ve leveled six characters into their twenties now, so I don’t want to give the impression that the game is this awful burden. It’s fun and different, and worth a look if you’re at all into MMOs. Still, I always dread reaching that point around level nineteen when I run out of quests in the city and have to head out to the desert to fight cowboy robots.

On the upside, the terrorist missile base is pretty fun.
