All meant in the spirit of fun. Please do not sue, crush or demean me. Here are some other characters I’d love to see at the poker table, should TellTale ever decide to run with this idea:
- Agatha Heterodyne (Girl Genius comic)
- Brent Sienna (PvP comic)
- Guybrush Threepwood (Monkey Island Series)
- Wallace (Wallace & Gromit show. Yeah, Gromit would be the better poker player, but his lack of voice would impair his ability to engage in humorous banter.)
- Elan (Order of the Stick)
- Roger Wilco (Space Quest series)
- Larry Laffer (Leisure Suit Larry series. Please, someone save this character from the terrible spin-off titles they’ve been doing recently.)
Okay, some of those would be a nightmare to license, animate, and voice, but this first game is a pretty brilliant example of cross-licensing done well.
Shamus Young is the guy behind Twenty Sided, DM of the Rings, and Stolen Pixels, Shamus Plays, and Spoiler Warning.
