Ruh roh! The dreaded continuity has raised its ugly head again. The way I’d like this to work is that each arc in Erin’s story entails a drastic change in her situation or character – Children of Steam doesn’t really count, being a non-canonical experiment. Eventually I’d like the transition from straight gags into story to be seamless and graceful, something writers like Scott Kurtz and Danielle Corsetto seem to manage with almost offensive ease. Alas, until I get a visit from the talent fairy, you’re going to have to deal with the strip clunking between gears like a Volvo driven by your drunk grandmother. Considering it a learning experience.
For me.
