Director David Cronenberg has become known as a modern master of terror. One reason he’s earned that title is one of his first films, 1975’s Shivers, or aka They Came from Within. This movie tells the story of the tenants of a high class apartment building that get infected by parasites that turn them into sex-crazed fiends. These fiends can transmit the parasites through any sexual contact. So definitely a date movie.
