Pokemon Go seems to make people lose all sense of reality and common sense as they’re glued to their phones trying to track down the next Pokemon to throw balls at. Here are eight stories of what happens when you try so hard to catch one, you end up as a candidate to win a Darwin Award.
Minor note: Our system doesn’t allow the use of the letter e with an acute to accurately type ‘Pokemon’ with one.

Common sense would tell you “okay, let me find an intersection or other crosswalk where I can safely cross this road at”, but not her! She decided that this Pokemon had to be hers and went forth into the road. As she crossed the road she was struck by a vehicle, luckily suffering only minor injuries. The best part is she and her mother both blame the game for her lack of judgement.
“To where it is set up, we have to cross roads to go get it. I do, blame it” Deiseroth said.

While it’s innocent enough to catch these critters, you shouldn’t violate the law in order to capture them.
