To review Resident Evil Village is to put together all the pieces of a massive, constantly changing franchise and see what happens. Nick Calandra and Marty Sliva have played through Capcom’s eighth entry in the mainline Resident Evil franchise and find that it is a worthy sequel, even if the story is a bit shallow and the main antagonists are a little underutilized.
