American McGee’s disaster spoof to be published in Europe by start-up publisher Lexicon Entertainment.

McGee’s latest game, Bad Day: LA, is a spoof of disaster films “In simple terms,” says American McGee, his game is “every blockbuster disaster film funneled into one insane day as experienced from the perspective of the world’s ultimate politically incorrect antihero.”

The game is due to ship in Q4 2006. Lexicon, which has obtained the PC rights for PAL territories claims to have “the financial muscle to be a major player in the market” and further sees Bad Day: LA as a landmark with which to start their publishing division.

Trevor Chan, Chairman of Enlight Software comments that Lexicon was “a perfect partner to publish Bad Day: LA in Europe. They have shown from the start enthusiasm for the product and we are confident that the product will be a huge success.”

Lexicon’s sales and marketing director, Emily Booty, expresses he excitement about the project. “We have been looking all over the world for new, innovative products and Bad Day: LA was perfect for us in stamping our mark on the market.”
