Co-founders of Massive Inc. leave the company.
Microsoft announced that Massive Inc. CEO Mitch Davis and President of new media Nichola Longano will leave at the end of this month. Massive Inc. is an in-game advertising subsidiary of Microsoft that was purchased in 2006. Cory Van Arsdale, the head of business development at MSN and the Online Services Group, will be replacing Davis as CEO. No reason has been given for the departures.
Davis commented on his exit, saying, “Pursuing entrepreneurial start-ups has been my passion. Massive is well-positioned in the in-game advertising industry, and I look forward to watching its future growth from outside the company as I move on to pursue new interests outside of Massive and Microsoft. I wish Cory and the team all the best as they go forward.”
