Square Enix Party 2007 Release Lineup Announcements

Square Enix announced some upcoming releases in a press conference leading up to the Square Enix Party 2007.

Star Ocean 1: First Departure and Star Ocean 2: Second Evolution will be revamped from the original titles and given bonus features and new cut scenes for the PSP. The release dates are to be announced.

Star Ocean 4 (tentative title) promises to take full advantage of next-gen hardware. Platforms and release dates are yet to be announced.

Chocobo’s Dungeon: Toki-Wasure no Meikyuu for the Wii is the latest in the Chocobo Series, following the success of Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales for the Nintendo DS. The release date is to be announced.

Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System is for the PS2, and the release date is August 9, 2007. This title is currently planned for release in Japan only.

The Last Remnant, a military-style RPG that puts you in the role of a soldier on a vast, war-torn battlefield, will debut on the PS3 and Xbox 360. The release date is yet to be announced.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates for the Nintendo DS allows you to lead twin children blessed by the crystals on a journey fraught with trials in single-player mode, cooperative multiplayer mode or head-to-head multiplayer mode. This will be released August 23, 2007, in Japan.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers, will be the first Final Fantasy title developed exclusively for the Wii, and the release date is yet to be announced.
