The interactive food chain started by Nolan Bushnell reaches Texas in 2008.

uWink, the restaurant chain started by Atari and Chuck E’ Cheese founder Nolan Bushenell that features interactive digital entertainment and is expanding to California in 2008, has signed a letter of intent to open a new location at Galleria Dallas in Dallas, Texas. The 8,000 square foot restaurant is scheduled to open in mid-2008 and is located in front of Galleria Dallas’s famous ice skating rink and classy shopping center. Following a 4-to-1 reverse stock split and reincorporation in Delaware, uWink has changed its stock ticker symbol to UWKI for use on OTC Bulletin Board exchanges.

Nolan Bushnell, Chief Executive Officer of uWink, said, “Opening in Galleria Dallas, one of the top retail centers in the country and the premier location in the state of Texas, fits perfectly into our strategy of rolling out the uWink brand in marquee sites across the country and the world.”
