Game industry event host Evergreen Events brings back the Online Game Development Conference.

Evergreen Events, the organization responsible for various videogame-centric conferences, announced that the Online Game Development Conference (OGDC) will be returning in 2008. The conference will be held at the Seattle Waterfront Marriott Hotel from May 13 to May 15, 2008. A welcome reception for early arrivals, which was one of the most popular networking opportunities during OGDC 2007, is scheduled for the evening of May 12. Early registration is scheduled to begin October 2007 and session/panel submission begins in November 2007. The event’s first year brought over three hundred and fifty attendees experienced in the field of online gaming from across the globe to Seattle.

“Last year we were rewarded by the incredibly positive feedback from the hundreds of attendees who attended our inaugural OGDC 2007. We set a high standard, but we intend to outdo ourselves for OGDC 2008, by rolling out an even more high-impact, compelling experience for attendees in the online game development industry,” said Cynthia Freese, Chief Executive Officer of Evergreen Events.

James Hursthouse, CEO of Online Game Services, who has been appointed the chairman of the OGDC 2008 advisory board, added, “I’m very pleased to be leading a diverse and accomplished advisory board for OGDC, and also to be involved in building on the success of one of the best events this industry has to offer.”
