Wild Psychonauts 2 rumors circulated furiously through the digital ether, after Double Fine posted a blacked out image of Raz, with “COMING SOON” written over it.
Turns out, it was all a dream, or rather some sort of psychic wishful thinking. Rock, Paper, Shotgun originally reported the image’s existence, and then was set straight on the topic by forum posters. The image is nothing more than a teaser for an upcoming page of Double Fine’s website that will be devoted to the much beloved game. The once stark and unassuming black and white image of Raz on DF’s project list has been colorized – reduced from an exotic and mysterious message to the paltry truth.
Of course, this didn’t stop the “news” being Slashdotted under the title, “Double Fine Hints At Psychonauts 2.”
