Eidos has announced that Kane & Lynch: Dead Men has gone gold, and revealed that the game will be turned loose on the public a full week earlier than previously announced.
Now slated for a November 13 release, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is being shipped for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and mobile handsets. The third-person shooter tells the gripping, blood-soaked story of “a flawed mercenary and a medicated psychopath” with intense action and a unique multiplayer twist.
“We’re excited to ship Kane & Lynch: Dead Men earlier than expected and get a jump on the holiday season,” said Eidos Vice President of Sales Robert Lindsey. “Kane & Lynch will offer something entire fresh and unique in terms of narrative depth and character, but also as a next-generation action title.”
Along with offering two-player co-operative multiplayer action, players will also be able to take part in the “Fragile Alliance” mode, in which up to eight players battle against the police while pulling off a high-stakes heist. But while everyone starts on the same team, at any moment a player can turn on the group and attempt to make a break with the loot on his own.
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men has been rated M (Mature). More information is available at www.kaneandlynch.com.
