Matrix Games and 2 by 3 Games will be hosting a live chat to discuss the acclaimed War in the Pacific: The Struggle Against Japan 1941-1945 and its recently announced expansion, War in the Pacific: Admiral’s Edition.
War in the Pacific: The Struggle Against Japan 1941-1945 is a massive and extremely-detailed turn-based strategy wargame simulating the Second World War conflict that spanned the Pacific Ocean. The game divides the theater into 60-mile hexes, and features units composed of individual vehicles, aircraft, guns and squads, covering virtually every ship, air group and battalion-sized or larger troop formation. The expansion will bring many new features to the game, including six new scenarios, improved naval, air and land operations, the most detailed Pacific War order of battle ever recreated in a wargame, a new scenario editor and much more.
“War in the Pacific: Admiral’s Edition just has too many improvements, tweaks, additions and more to be listed in any one place,” said David Heath, director of operations at Matrix Games. “This live chat is a great chance for gamers who want to chat in person and in detail about the countless improvements and additions to the inner workings of War in the Pacific expansion coming their way this summer.”
The War in the Pacific chat will take place on December 13 at 9:00 p.m. EST at the Matrix Games Live Chat area. More information about the War in the Pacific: Admiral’s Edition expansion is available at the Matrix Games website.
