Mad Catz go to Bat For Tatsunoko vs Capcom

The bizarre Wii fighter Tatsunoko vs Capcom is getting a custom peripheral of its own, courtesy of Mad Catz.

Ken the Eagle vs Viewtiful Joe: Fight! Tatsunoko vs Capcom is the probably the only game that will let you play that particular fight, and certainly the only official source. Following the effort that went in to bringing the game to the west, Capcom are making sure it gets the attention it deserves.

The official Tatsunoko vs Capcom fightstick comes from Mad Catz, who recently gained exposure for its line of Street Fighter IV sticks. What’s unusual about this stick is that not only is it for a relatively niche product – albeit a pretty awesome one – it’s for the Wii, a device not normally equated with fightsticks.

“We look forward to bringing fighting games fans on the Wii platform a range of distinctive, high-quality accessories that enhance the game-playing experience of Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars,” said Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz.
