Red Dead Redemption Not Coming to PC Any Time Soon

If you planned to explore the old west with a mouse as well as a horse, you’d better get comfortable, as you’ll be waiting a while.

Rockstar has announced that it has no plans to release a PC version of Red Dead Redemption in the near future. Responding to a user comment on the Rockstar news wire, a Rockstar representative said: “As of now, there are no current plans to bring Red Dead Redemption to the PC platform. If that should change, we will let you know.”

This doesn’t mean that a PC version isn’t coming, as Rockstar has a habit of delaying the PC versions of its games for months, but if previous time scales are any indication, it might be as late as the beginning of 2011 before PC gamers get to see what all the fuss is about.
