The real world can be a frustrating place. You need to do a job to make money. You need to buy food with said money, you need to clean your house and wash your clothes so that you can exist in a public environment. When you think about it, it’s really kind of a drag – wouldn’t you rather be, say, throwing sticky grenades in someone’s face during a match of Halo: Reach?

Yeah, so would Chicago-based music group The Energy Commission. This video – produced with the help of Machinima.com – chronicles the story of a young would-be Spartan who dreams of energy swords and no-scope sniper pwnage. It’s remarkably well-produced, and the song may well get stuck in your head if you listen to it for too long.
