For the week of Black Friday, PopCap Games has slashed its prices on everything it has to offer.
PopCap Games isn’t fooling around with its first holiday sale this year. Rather than making things complicated with daily deals or hourly discounts, PopCap has straight up cut its prices in half for every downloadable title available on the company website.
From today until November 29, every PopCap download game is priced at 50% off. The list of titles included in the sale, found here, includes hits such as Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle, Bejeweled 2, Bookworm Adventures, and Heavy Weapon. All in all, there are 50 puzzle/casual games to enjoy at half of their normal price.
PopCap now joins Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network in their week of digital sales. This isn’t as cool as when PopCap sold Bejeweled 2 for zero dollars, but it’s still a good sale.
Steam, the big player in the digital distribution space, hasn’t announced its Black Friday sale yet, but you can bet one is coming. With the new wave in digital distribution holiday sales, it’s hard to imagine ever buying games at a different time of the year.
