Epic Games president Mike Capps wants you to preorder Bulletstorm so badly he’ll tell you so from the shower, dicktits.
I see a lot of really weird things in this job, but when I woke up this morning I certainly did not tell myself, “You know, self, you will see Epic Games president Mike Capps in a shower scene today.”
And yet.
The video you see here is (presumably) the first installment in “Bulletpoints,” a short video dedicated to promoting the developer’s upcoming Bulletstorm. It’s done in the style of the old “Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey” shorts on Saturday Night Live. I’m also not ashamed to say that I found it pretty damn hilarious. It’s the music, really.
While I applaud humor and creativity on the part of Epic Games in promoting Bulletstorm, I’m not sure how well gamers will respond to an ad campaign that calls them “dicktits.” I mean, who’s supposed to be insulted there, guys or girls? Or is it both?
Epic Games and People Can Fly: Insulting everyone in their potential target audience since 2011. Because, y’know, Bulletstorm was already so classy in the first place.
