This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Now you can pretend you were invited to Sony’s PSP2/NGP conference by watching the entire thing in HD.

If you want to get all of the details on the PSP2/NGP just as Sony first presented them at its recent PlayStation Meeting, Sony has been gracious enough to let you by uploading the entire event to YouTube in HD (up to 1080p). Thankfully, a translator was on hand to convert the conference’s Japanese into English, for those that don’t speak Japan’s native language.

The PlayStation Meeting was more than 90 minutes long, so Sony divided it up into 6 different parts. It opens with around 20 minutes of teasing from Sony Computer Entertainment president and group CEO Kazuo Hirai before the NGP is finally revealed.

Through these videos we get a clearer look at part of Sony’s NGP lineup that was hand-recorded elsewhere, followed by an NGP demo of Uncharted by SCE worldwide studios president Shuhei Yoshida. Also shown is a full explanation of the NGP’s interface and online features.

Other highlights include Hideo Kojima’s NGP demo of Metal Gear Solid and a demo of Epic’s Unreal Engine running on the handheld. It’s exciting stuff. Now Sony just has to get details like price, price, and the price hammered out. Parts 2-6 are below:

*Note: Part 4 is still private as of this writing. It’ll likely be made public soon.*
