Bethesda Softworks says the Lonesome Road DLC for Fallout: New Vegas wonāt be out this month after all, for a whole bunch of reasons.
To make a long story short, Lonesome Road, the latest DLC for Fallout: New Vegas, will not be out in August, as was apparently the plan. To make a short story a little longer, senior producer Jason Bergman explained why on the Fallout forums.
āWe just wanted to drop in here and let you know that due to circumstances beyond our control, Lonesome Road wonāt be out this month,ā he wrote. āThis isnāt due to any major issue with the code or content, but there are lots of factors involved in releasing these things, and one of those is causing us to slip past our intended release date.ā
So when will it be out? āWe donāt have an exact date yet, but weāre working to get it out as quickly as possible,ā he continued. āWeāll be announcing the final date, along with a couple of other interesting FNV-related items in the near future.ā
While Bergman declined to explain exactly what caused the delay, he did make the very interesting point of noting that itās not Bethesdaās fault. āWish I could go into more detail, but I canāt,ā he wrote in a separate post. All Iāll say is that it is through no fault of the developers.ā
Very interesting indeed! The implication seems to be that it wonāt be a huge delay for Lonesome Road, so Iām thinking September. When we know, youāll know!
