Nike Auctions Back to the Future Shoes for Charity
Nike is auctioning off 1,500 pairs of the light-up self-tying shoes from Back to the Future 2 for charity. Sadly, the shoes don’t tie themselves, but other than that, they’re a spot on recreation. Nike will donate $50 million to Michael J Fox’s – who starred in the BttF movies – foundation for finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease, a condition that Fox suffers from. Morrigan Cosplay Gets Hydrated
Ukrainian cosplayer “The Kirana” and her costume maker/photographer friend Kira Winter have put together some pretty spectacular Dragon Age cosplay. Kirana dressed up as the sarcastic mage Morrigan and Winter used photography tricks to add some impressive-looking magical water effects. The costume is amazing – the contacts are a nice touch – and the photographs are pretty stunning too. Hit the link for a gallery. (Link)
