It’s Serious Sam 3 launch day and that can only mean one thing: a Serious Sam 3 launch video!
Everything you need to know about Serious Sam can be found in the three promotional videos released over the past few weeks: the Weapons Trailer, the Melee Trailer and the Blood and Guts Trailer. But in case you’ve somehow managed to miss the point, allow me to take one more crack at it with the launch trailer that hit the tubes today to mark the release of Serious Sam 3: BFE.
It’s interesting that this latest and last pre-release trailer makes Serious Sam 3 look a lot more story-intensive than previous games. I say that entirely without irony; plots in previous Serious Sam games pretty much amounted to “OH GOD HERE THEY COME” so the fact that there’s another character and some actual dialog [as opposed to the occasional cheesy one-liners] is quite a change and entirely unexpected.
Gameplay appears to be more or less unchanged, though: violent, bloody and fast-paced enough to cause injuries, and that’s what we’re here for. I’m downloading as we speak and can’t wait to sprain everything below my shoulders on both arms with it. Serious Sam 3: BFE is available now on Steam.
