The PC version of Alan Wake is just around the corner, but you can get an eyeful of the launch trailer right now.
The long-awaited debut of Alan Wake on the PC will finally arrive on February 16 and to mark the moment, Remedy has turned loose a trailer setting up some background for those of us who missed out on it the first time around. According to Gameranx, it’s a modified version of the X10 trailer that turned up back in February 2010, showing off the higher resolution graphics of the PC edition and mixing in different gameplay segments.
Believe it or not, I actually don’t know much about the game, so I’m going into it about as cold as anyone can be at this point. The Xbox 360 version passed me by without even saying hello but the impending release of the PC version, and the hope that the more “intimate” nature of the platform will help drive the experience, has me pretty excited.
The PC version of Alan Wake, which includes The Signal and The Writer DLC packages, goes on sale tomorrow for $29.99 on Steam, while a retail collector’s edition will hit store shelves on March 2.
